Welcome to the Yo-He-Wah Indian Princess, Cheyenne Tribe's Page
Ya-Ta-Hey! Thank you for visiting the Cheyenne fundraising page in support of the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) in the fight against hunger through their Food For Kids program.
Did you know that one out of every four children in our very own community faces hunger? Tarrant Area Food Bank works to provide local children in need with access to nutritious food. As a parent, imagine a child who wakes up wondering if he or she will have enough to eat that day, or children who fear summers and weekends because the only meals they typically receive are provided at school.
The TAFB Food For Kids programs help ensure that no child has to go hungry by providing healthy meals all year round. Their programs include: after-school meals paired with structured after-school activities such as tutoring, mentoring, and physical recreation; in-school snacks too allow food-insecure children to focus in class; BackPacks for Kids, which provides children with backpacks full of nutritious food that they can take home to make sure that they don’t go hungry during the week and over the weekend; and Summer Meals for kids who might otherwise go hungry.
Please join in raising support for this vital organization. Every dollar you give will help provide five meals for a child in need. Together we can make a difference!
