Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am glad to take my fight against hunger one step farther with Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB).
Did you know that one of six people in our community are hungry? How about that one of four kids in our community are food insecure? Tarrant Area Food Bank works to provide children, families and seniors with access to nutritious food. Our mission is important to me because I believe that no one should have to go hungry.
My job is to help children thrive in and out of school by providing nutritious snacks and meals. We are also dedicated to ensuring that seniors with limited incomes don't have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Thanks to TAFB and friends like YOU, families in our community are able to sit down to enjoy nutritious meals every day.
My work goal is to serve 40,000 meals this summer! I have taken on another big challenge which I will be able to share soon and because of that I am also looking to raise $3,300 through this fundraiser. My lucky number is 33 and I am confident that my generous friends who have supported me in so many ways over my years at TAFB will help me to reach this goal too!
